San Lorenzo vs Huracan
After registering two draws and three losses, San Lorenzo secured their first success in the Liga Profesional last Saturday, when beating Talleres 1-0 away thanks to a strike from Yeison Gordillo in the first half. However, the team accumulated only five points so far, which places them seven points behind Racing Club, who occupy the last playoff berth in group A.
Meanwhile, Huracan suffered a surprising 3-1 home defeat to Godoy Cruz last Saturday despite having taken the lead in the first minute of the game. That result stopped their two-match winning streak and also displaced them from the qualifying spots in group B as El Globo remain on nine points, now trailing fourth-placed Tigre by goal difference. On away turf, Frank Kudelka’s men managed three points from six available after losing to Sarandi Arsenal and beating Boca Juniors.
Big derby, San Lorenzo usually dominates it, they come from their first win of the season so confident is much better, and I expect them to win here as well.
