Independiente vs Racing
Independiente are yet to find their best version under coach Eduardo Dominguez. Last Monday, the team shared points with CA Central Cordoba after a 1-1 home draw. El Rojo are on five matches unbeaten in the Copa Liga Profesional, but they only won one and drew the last four. As a result, they accumulated seven points in six matches and remain out of the qualifying spots in group B.
Meanwhile, Racing Club are improving game after game. Following their best performance of the season, the team beat Atletico Tucuman 4-0 away last Monday to become the only unbeaten team in the Copa Liga Profesional. Having won three and drawn three so far (along with another triumph in the last game in 2021), La Academia accumulated 12 points and climbed into the last qualifying berth in group A.
Racing is in much better form and I expect them to get something from this derby.
