Argentina Copa de la Liga: Talleres vs Independiente odds for November 26, 2023

Talleres vs Independiente

Talleres are getting worse game after game. Last time out, the team showed a worrying performance and succumbed to a deserved 3-0 away defeat to Colon. That result means Javier Gandolfi’s men extended their winless streak to seven league matches (four stalemates and three losses). Therefore, they remain on 14 points in group A and are yet to secure their Copa Libertadores’ ticket for next season, needing at least to claim a point this weekend. On a positive note, Talleres have been unbeaten in their last 15 games at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, winning seven and drawing eight.

Independiente had a rough night two weeks ago and ended up registering a disappointing scoreless home stalemate against Banfield. However, El Rojo are now one of the group A leaders on 23 points (alongside River Plate and Huracan) after succumbing to a single defeat across their last 12 Copa Liga Profesional matches (six victories and five draws). As a result, Carlos Tevez’s men will make it to the playoffs in the event of avoiding the defeat here. Independiente won three, drew two and lost one on the road in this competition.

Independiente will be in the playoffs with at least a draw, Talleres play almost for nothing because even if they lose they will go to Copa Libertadores next year due to their huge goals difference compared to the others, so I’ll go with the visitors here, with playmaker Federico Mancuello back from injury, to at least avoid a defeat.
