Arsenal vs Rosario Central
Rosario Central played one of their best Copa Liga Profesional matches in round 13, when they reversed the score to beat defending champions River Plate 3-1 at home. Therefore, Miguel Russo’s men made it seven league matches without defeat (winning four and drawing three) to hold onto one of the Copa Libertadores’ places in the aggregate table. In addition, El Canalla accumulated 20 points in group A, now trailing the last playoff berth (occupied by Colon) just by goal difference. On a sorry note, Central have been winless in their last 14 on the road, with eight stalemates and six losses in that spell. Right back Damian Martinez is suspended for Sunday after reaching the yellow-card limit. Centre back Carlos Quintana succumbed to a muscle problem and won’t feature.
Rosario Central must win by 2 or more goals to advance to the playoffs and I expect them to do it against the already relegated Arsenal that won’t have half of their defense (Breitenbruch and Chimino) and has nothing to play for here.
