Boca vs Talleres
Boca Juniors secured their first Liga Profesional victory last Sunday, coming back from a two-goal disadvantage to beat CA Central Cordoba 4-2 away. El Xeneize made it three points in two rounds to stay occupying one of the Copa Sudamericana spots in the aggregate rankings after winning three and drawing one of the last five in league action (along with a single defeat). Boca are unbeaten in their last ten domestic matches at Estadio La Bombonera (seven victories and three draws). Marcos Rojo, Cristian Lema and Cristian Medina are available after overcoming different injuries.
Talleres are one of the best teams in the league at the moment. Last Sunday, the team produced an enjoyable performance to claim an easy 2-0 home success over Atletico Tucuman to make it six points from a possible six in the Liga Profesional, staying as leaders alongside River Plate and Estudiantes. In fact, Walter Ribonetto’s men made it ten unbeaten in league action (five victories and five draws) to climb into one of the Copa Libertadores’ spots in the aggregate table. Five of those took place on the road: Talleres won two and drew three.
Expecting a very entertaining game here between this Boca trying to continue on the good path they started last week in the 4-2 win at Central Cordoba, and this Talleres who are one of the best team in the league now after consecutive wins in the first two rounds and a securing a place in the next stage of Copa Libertadores. Lots of good strikers between both teams so we should have an open game here.
