Lanus vs Atletico Tucuman
Lanus salvaged an important point on their visit to Independiente last weekend, when they found the equaliser through a penalty netted by Jose Sand in the third minute of stoppage time. El Granate continue increasing their interesting tally: they are now on 29 points (even holding a game in hand), which allows them to stay into the Copa Sudamericana zone after losing only one of their last eight league matches (winning four and drawing three in that spell). Lanus are especially confident at home: they are unbeaten in the last five, taking 13 points from 15 available in that stretch.
Atletico Tucuman had to fight more than expected to beat relegation candidates Sarandi Arsenal 1-0 at home last time out, but they finally took all three points thanks to a goal from Ramiro Ruiz Rodriguez in the 93rd minute. As a result, El Decano put an end to their four-match winless streak of two draws and two defeats in league action. Accumulating 18 points in as many matches, they opened a three-point gap over Union Santa Fe (currently getting relegated via the aggregate table). On away turf, Atletico managed eight points in nine games this term, winning one, drawing five and losing three.
Lanus has scored at least once in 9 of their last 10 games, they’ve been solid at home but since I think the odds on them are below what I expected, I’ll go with the OVER on this low totals line.
