Wrexham vs Sheffield United
I am betting national conference side Wrexham today, they host Championship high flyers side Sheffield United after beating Coventry City away in the last round. This is quite a high profile game thanks to the owners of Wrexham FC, Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. I think it is fair to say Wrexham are probably a decent league 2 team and woud be chasing promotion from that division if they were in it they are that good, so the gap is not as big as it would normally be when a side from the national league play a Championship side. In addition to that Sheffield United have a whole host of players out through injury and with a transfer embargo on the club they can’t afford to risk any players as they are firmly chasing promotion from the Championship to the premier league so we could see quite a heavy rotation from the blades today, so betting Wrexham to cause an upset.
