Liverpool vs Southampton
I am betting Liverpool here -1.75 and over 3.25 goals, I have downgraded Liverpool by quite a bit but i still have them value against this Southampton side who look so weak defensively with a number of starting defenders missing against Newcastle last weekend in what was a 4-1 defeat. The saints give away some very soft goals in that game and away in Anfield surely things could be even worse with a fair chance we will see those same players absent this week too. Southampton have a new man in charge but he has only been appointed in the last few days but 2 negative for me is that he is not long enough in the job to make any real changes and also i don’t believe he is even as good as coach as the previous manager. Happy to take Liverpool -1.75 who i believe is value. I am also adding the over 3.25 goals as a bet, Liverpool are by no means brilliant at the back either and Southampton could score but the saints are were so poor defensively last weekend i could see Liverpool scoring all the goals themselves to get the over.
