Sarmiento vs Racing
Sarmiento managed an important 0-0 away draw on their visit to Platense in a boring game last Sunday. As a result, they are now on seven points in five rounds in the Liga Profesional, having won two, drawn one and lost two so far. That campaign allows them to stay into the Copa Sudamericana zone in the aggregate table and out of the relegation spots in the respective standings.
Racing Club played in perfect style last Sunday and secured an easy 5-0 home success over Aldosivi in their struggle to fight for the league title after being knocked out of the Copa Argentina and the Copa Sudamericana. As a result, the team made it three victories and two defeats in five games to accumulate nine points in the Liga Profesional (four behind leaders Newell’s Old Boys) and remain at the top of the 2022 aggregate table, qualifying for the 2023 Copa Libertadores.
Racing added some important players in attack and this showed on their 5-0 win last week, I think they can keep their momentum and this will give us an open game here with goals.
