Czech Republic vs Spain
I am betting Spain here -0.75 and over 2.5 goals to be scored here, it feels like a big handicap away from home even for a team as goods as Spain but the Czechs are without so many players it is difficult to see them overcome a side like Spain even at home. They did manage to beat Switzerland mid-week but it was a lucky win and on another night the Swiss could have easily won the match. I thought Spain played well enough in their game midweek against Portugal in a game that ended in a 1-1 draw and they had a major chance to win it late on that they did not take, a draw was probably a fair result but Spain won’t have anything to fear against a Czech team without so many regular players and will have to name a largely inexperienced team today which is far from ideal. I am also betting the over 2.5 goals, it is a case that when there is value on a favourite like Spain it makes since to also support the over goals as the supremacy between both teams in the markets is greater than the market suggests it is ,so the expected goals is also lower as a result than it should be.Â
