Central Cordoba vs Boca
Boca Juniors showed a worrying version last Wednesday and were lucky to earn a 1-1 home draw against Godoy Cruz. However, the team made it six league games unbeaten (two victories and four consecutive draws) to accumulate 18 points, sitting in the last playoff spot in group B and holding a three-point gap over fifth-placed Colon. On a positive note, El Xeneize are on six away games without defeat in domestic action, winning three and drawing three since they lost to Independiente in November. Agustin Rossi, Carlos Izquierdoz, Nicolas Figal, Carlos Zambrano and Gaston Avila remain sidelined. Oscar Romero remains doubtful.
Boca has been just awful so far this season and it’s hard to believe they still didn’t fire their coach. They will have some important missings in defense and a very tough game at Brazil next week, so I’m going with the hosts not to lose here.
