Atletico Tucuman – Central Cordoba

Atletico Tucuman are going through a deep crisis at the moment. Last time out, they suffered their second consecutive 4-0 defeat (this one to Racing Club at home). The team collected four points in six matches this term, but their terrible form (only one success across the last 15 league games, along with four draws and ten defeats) is making an impact on their points average (El Decano occupy the 21st spot of the relegation table and will drop down soon if not improving). To make matters worse, Atletico won only one of their last seven home matches (drawing three and losing three).

CA Central Cordoba managed an important point on their visit to Independiente in round six, when drawing 1-1 thanks to a goal from Francisco Gonzalez Metilli in the second half. However, their campaign remain irregular: having not won any of the last five games (three draws and two losses), El Ferroviario managed six points in as many matches in the Copa Liga Profesional, which means they sit in 22nd place of the relegation table.

Two of the worst teams in the league meet, not much to lose at this point as they are both at the bottom of their group, so I expect an open game since neither will be happy with a draw.
