Aldosivi vs Huracan

Aldosivi failed to earn a point on their return to the Superliga following a 1-0 away defeat to Union Santa Fe. The team tried to play an even game, but they conceded in the second half and couldn’t find a way back to the game. It was their third loss in four away matches.

Huracan earned a valuable home point following a scoreless draw with River Plate in the season opener last Sunday. The team made a great display of attitude to play an even game against one of the big five. In addition, that draw means El Globo reached 13 league encounters unbeaten (six wins, seven draws). That run includes six matches on the road, with three victories and three stalemates.

Aldosivi is rebuilding and have 21 new players for this season, but will miss their top scorer, Fernando Telechea and attacking midfielder Antonio Medina, both due to injury. Huracan is a tough team but they lost their top scorer in the offseason and will miss striker Andres Chavez due to injury. I expect nothing but a tight game with not many scoring chances.
