Colon vs Tigre

Colon was unlucky to earn a single point on their visit to Patronato last time out. That 0-0 draw means El Sabalero managed a single success in their last five league matches (at Racing Club 3-1 in May). The same can be said about their home games in the Superliga as they booked one win, two draws and two losses in the last five. On Thursday, Colon hosted Sao Paulo from Brazil in the Copa Sudamericana, losing 0-1 but they advanced to the Round of 16 after winning on the penalties shootout.

Despite holding a 2-0 lead in the 11th minute, Tigre wasn’t able to kick off their season with a victory. That 2-2 home draw with San Lorenzo was bad news for Cristian Ledesma’s men, who will have a mountain to climb if they want to keep top-flight status. Tigre is on three league matches without a win and they managed a single success in their last 14 away fixtures (six draws, seven defeats).

Colon’s mood is perfect after their historic game on Thursday, Tigre needs almost a miracle to avoid relegation this season, so I’m going with the home win.
