Their last competitive game was in the Copa Argentina when beating third-tier side Huracan Las Heras 2-0 to advance to the second round. Lanus are also on six home matches unbeaten, with five wins and a single draw.
Belgrano is occupying one of the relegation spots following their 1-0 away defeat at league leaders Racing Club in an even match. Having managed a single victory in their last 12 matches (seven draws, four losses), El Pirata earned only 21 points in the whole season and are trailing Patronato (who are safe) by three points in the point-average table.
