Netherlands vs Czech Republic
I am betting the Czech Republic +1 here today and under 2.75 goals scored in the match, I think the Dutch look very short in the market in terms of their odds, the Czechs have performed well enough in in their opening matches of the tournament and came out of a more difficult group than the Dutch were placed in. I have still question marks over the Dutch a team who seem to rely so much on the veteran Wijnaldum, if the Czech can do a job on him I think it will go a long way to quieting the Netherlands today who to be fair are an attacking side. The benefit of home advantage is also gone for the Netherlands, they played all 3 group matches in Amsterdam and at the moment it is difficult to calculate how much of an advantage home advantage actually is but I think it may have been worth up to 0.3 of a goal in some of their matches, so it is a significant advantage to be taken away, this match is in Budapest today and may be a case the Czechs could even outnumber the Dutch in terms of support. I am also betting under 2.75 goals, the Dutch are a very attacking side but I think in the knock out stage an over/under 2.75 is a big line , these type matches are usually tighter affairs with players afraid of making mistakes and teams happy to defend leads, I think nature of these games also makes the +1 more attractive on the Czechs too.
