Croatia vs Nigeria

Croatia are the dark horses for the tournament and they have some brilliant players in their squad. Corluka, Rakitic, Modric, Perisic and Mandzukic are all classy players not to mention super talented Kovavic who will probably be on the bench, they should have too much for Nigeria. The Africans are an athletic side but lack the quality the Croats have an offer, without doubt the Nigerians will make it difficult for Croatia. John Obi Mikel is still their best player but he is playing these days in China. They have also doubts in regard to Ndidi and centre back Balogun is rated only 50/50 to start and that would be a major plus for a Croatia bet if he did not lineup.

For me the odds are value on the Croats win. Croatia will want to go deep as it is many of these players last chance of World Cup glory. They will want to avoid the French if they qualify so they will need to top the group and that means getting off to a win against Nigeria here. I was going to lit this game slide but I can’t resist betting Croatia at this morning odds of Croatia -0.5 min odds 1.8.
