Aldosivi will need to earn a lot of points to improve their average ahead of the 2022 relegation table. Godoy Cruz have the worst average thinking of relegation in 2022 and were the worst side in the Copa Liga Profesional, having earned only five points from 33 on offer after their 3-2 away defeat at Velez Sarsfield in their last game under interim boss Daniel Oldra. El Tomba won only one of their last 12 league matches, along with two draws and nine defeats. On away turf, they managed a single point from the last 18 available since beating Newell’s Old Boys 2-0 in March. During the summer break, coach Sebastian Mendez arrived to replace Diego Martinez and start his second spell at the club.
Two of the worst teams from last season meet here and I have to expect Aldosivi to perform better at home considering they will be on the spotlight due to having Fernando Gago as their coach.
