Boca vs River
Boca Juniors continue at the top of the Fase Campeonato’s group A table thanks to their easy 3-0 home success over Huracan last Saturday to make it seven points from a possible nine in this second stage. As a result, Miguel Angel Russo’s men extended their unbeaten run to five top-flight matches (three victories and two draws). At home, they haven’t lost any of the last three in this competition through two wins and one stalemate.
River Plate are also leaders in group A on seven points after beating Sarandi Arsenal 2-1 at Independiente in a hard-fought game last Sunday. That means El Millonario are on eight matches unbeaten in the Copa Liga Profesional, having won seven and drawn one since losing to Banfield in the season opener. El Millonario haven’t lost any of their last 16 domestic matches on away turf, with 13 wins and three draws. River Plate left back Fabrizio Angileri succumbed to a muscle problem against Sarandi Arsenal and will miss out. The same can be said about Milton Casco, who replaced him in that game.

Another edition of the Superclasico and a very important one because whoever wins this game will very likely reach the championship final, but they both play Copa Libertadores semifinals in a few days so they will rotate their squad.Â
Boca has the deeper squad and they’ll play at home, so I think at this odds they are worth a bet.
