I am giving Salzburg a chance here tonight, Bayern are Bayern, they are a terrific side but I do think there has been a bit of a drop off in their performance levels so far this season, just a little but it is enough to give Salzburg a chance. They only beat FC Koln 2-1 the last day in the Bundesliga, yes they did rest players for that match but interestingly the xG was only 0.68 v 0.99 in favour of Bayern much closer than would have been expected. Alfonso Davies is out again having missed the first few weeks of the season and Thiago who they sold to Liverpool seems to be a very big miss, as well as his attacking talents his ability to keep the ball and pass was a way of shielding their defence too, basically, other teams could not get the ball to attack Bayern. I am betting Red Bull Salzburg +1.5.
