Boca Juniors vs Lanus
Boca Juniors were close to making it three consecutive victories in the Superliga, but they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 away draw at Belgrano. However, El Xeneize is on seven league matches unbeaten (winning five and drawing two) and stay sitting in the third spot on 32 points with one game in hand. Furthermore, they grabbed 13 points in the last five matches at La Bombonera Stadium.
Lanus continue to improve week after week. They are now on seven matches without defeat in the Superliga (having won five of them) after a convincing 2-0 home victory over Gimnasia LP. El Granate managed four successes in a row and climbed into the tenth spot of the league table on 24 points, two behind the last Copa Sudamericana berth. Lanus won their last away game at Godoy Cruz, but that was their first victory on the road (along with five draws and two defeats).
Lanus are improving greatly and Boca is still a team that lacks confidence, so this handicap looks too big.
