Copa Libertadores: Binacional vs LDU Quito Odds – Sept 15, 2020

While both the Peruvian and Ecuadorian league resumed around the same time last month, we also have a huge form difference here as the visitors (a former Copa Libertadores champions) lead their local tournament with 9 wins in 12 games, Binacional (who are debuting this year in this competition) won only 1 out of 5 games. Before this competition was paused back in March, Binacional set a record by losing 8-0 vs River Plate from Argentina, and I can only imagine how bad they can be now after playing only a handful of games after a very long time.
Furthermore, CONMEBOL has decided that they can’t play at their hometown of Juliaca where they had the huge advantage of the 3800 meters of altitude, and they have to play at Lima, Peru’s capital city which is at sea level.
LDU knows this are points they must get if they want to advance and they should take advantage of a weak opponent.
