The community shield kicks off today and sees Arsenal play Liverpool, Liverpool the league winners play the cup winners at Wembley. Last season Man City defeated Liverpool but it was a game where Liverpool was probably a little unlucky to be fair, they went strong enough for that match and I think they will want to kick off the new season with a bang as the last few weeks of last season they were underperforming a little and questions were asked of them in the media. Arsenal is also a little behind them in preparation with them winning the cup they were allowed come back a little later than most other sides and I also think they won’t go as strong as Liverpool and will probably leave some of their star players off. With that I make Liverpool value on the -0.75 line, the goal line feels about right with Over/Under 3 so just relying on Liverpool -0.75.
