I am betting Rangers +1 here tonight, I think Rangers have a number of advantages ahead of this match, first Bayer Leverkusen have not played a competitive match in over a month, Rangers are now in their new season since last week, 2nd obviously for all teams there is no crowd but it reduces home advantage which will be a plus for the Gers, 3rd There is some uncertainty in regards to key player Kai Havertz, 4th Leverkusen only have to protect their lead and 5th and last Leverkusen finished off the German season in inconsistent form winning 5 of their last 9 league games losing 3 and drawing 1 and when you consider it mainly sided from the lower half they played in that run it was not a great run of form and as a result, they missed out on a place in next season’s Champion’s league. Rangers know they need to score, they are missing a number of new players but I still think there is value in their price, I am very tempted to add the goals in here but I hate betting the underdog and the overs and me happy to know that I have value on Rangers +1 so will make that my sole bet.
